carepods: A new concept in dementia care
What is a carePod?
The CarePod concept is to provide a more holistic care experience by having various providers, who typically work in a silo, to come together and work as a collaborative team.
These providers are all trained to use AlzBetter patient-centered approach to dementia. By improving communication between providers and having staff that are all trained to deliver care in a similar manner, the continuity of care is greatly improved, providing for a. much more consistent and improved care delivery model.
The heart of the Pod is the dementia coach who acts as the group organizer to help coordinate the care and advocate on behalf of the person living with dementia and their entire support system.
