Bacteria in your gut could help prevent or even treat dementia

Many people think of bacteria as an evil organism that causes the body harm. What is not realized is the value that good bacteria offer.

In a recent study published in the journal Frontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience, it suggests new avenues involving the use of probiotics to treat and potentially forestall symptoms of dementia associated with neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s.
