My dad is waking me up at 4:00am

Okay, my dad moved in with my wife and I after we decided it was unsafe for him to live alone. Lately, he is getting up in the middle of the night and reorganizing things. This is fine and doesn’t bother me, but now he can’t get out of bed without screaming for help. It’s like he has forgotten how to use his legs. Once I go in and comfort him he will calm down, sit up, and actually walk.

I am startled awake every night about 4:00am and I am worried he is going to fall. Does anyone know about this?
